Ed "Boxcar" Hospodar played Defense in the NHL for 9 seasons; 2.5 seasons for the Philadelphia Flyers (1984-87). He was an American born hockey player who was used primarily as an enforcer throughout his career. As a member of the Flyers, he is best known for being one of the instigators of a Pregame brawl between the Montreal Canadiens and Flyers prior to Game 6 of the Wales Conference.
