Ron Hextall played Goalie for the Philadelphia Fyers for 11 years (1986-1992, 1994-1999). Ron won the Vezina Trophy (best goaltender) in 1987, Conn Smythe Trophy in 1987 and was an All-Star in 1988. On December 8, 1987, Ron became the first goalie in NHL history to score a goal. Ron holds MANY Flyers records for a goalie including most games, wins, playoff wins, points and penalty minutes. In 2008 Ron was inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame. He currently serves as the Flyers GM.
