Ray Allison played Right Wing for the Philadelphia Flyers for 5 seasons (1981-1987; one year in the minors after a broken ankle).

Allison became the first ever draft pick in the history of the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes franchise in 1979. A year later, Allison was traded in a ten player deal to Philadelphia.
