Mark Howe

Mark Howe played defense for 16 years in the NHL including 10 with the Flyers (1982-1992). He is regarded as one of the best two-way defensemen of the 1980's. Howe is the Flyers all-time leader among defensemen in 13 categories including goals (138), assists (342) and points (480). He was a 3 time runner up for the Norris Trophy and played in 3 Stanley Cup Finals. Howe was inducted into the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame in 2001, United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011. The Flyers retired his number 2 making his number only the fifth to be retired by the Flyers. He is the son of hockey legend, Gordie Howe.
