Ian Anderson is known throughout the world of rock music as the flute and voice behind the legendary Jethro Tull who played the Spectrum 19 times (6th most of any band). Jethro Tull have sold an estimated 60 million albums worldwide, with 11 gold and 5 platinum albums among them. Anderson, who was credited with introducing the flute into rock music, was known for his famous one-legged flute stance, and was once referred to as a "deranged flamingo".
