Bobby Taylor

Bobby "The Chief" Taylor was a professional goalie in the NHL for 5 season; 4 with the Philadelphia Flyers (1971-1975). Throughout his career with the Flyers he served as the backup to Doug Favell then Bernie Parent. In 1972 he was part of the "Flyers Seven" who faced charges following a fight in Vancouver against the Canucks that spilled into the stands. Taylor was a member of both Flyers Stanley Cup teams in 1974 and 1975. When he retired, he returned to Philadelphia to call Flyers games on TV and radio from 1977-1992 alongside legendary hockey announcer Gene Hart.
