"Only the Lord saves more than BERNIE PARENT" - Bernie played Goalie for 10 seasons (1967-1971, 1973-1979) on  the Philadelphia Flyers and was one of the main reasons for their back-to-back Stanley Cups. His goaltending between 1973-1975 is some of the best in history. He won the Conn Smyth Trophy twice, Vezina Trophy twice, Two-Time Stanley Cup winner and 5x All-Star. Bernie was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1984 and the Flyers Hall of Fame in 1988. His #1 has been retired by the Flyers.
